Welcome to The Elizabeth Courtauld Surgery

We are open 8:30am - 6:30pm Monday, Thursday & Friday, 8:30 - 8:00pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We also open alternate Saturdays between the hours of 8:00am and 10:00am.  Appointments are available during the hours listed below.  Our doctors commence afternoon clinics at 3.30pm and our nurses are available from 1pm or 1.30pm.

The phone lines are closed daily between 1 and 2pm, except for emergencies.

Appointment bookings can be made by telephone or by coming into the surgery to book. You can also book appointments online once you have registered with us for this facility.

 Advanced Access

You can now book Doctors appointments up to 2 weeks in advance.

We have made 2/3 of our appointments available to book in advance.

you can also book Nurse appointments up to 4 weeks in advance.

Anybody needing to be seen on the day will still be seen by either a Doctor with free appointments or the Duty Doctor.

Seasonal Flu Clinics

Our flu clinics are now open for booking.

Our seasonal flu vaccination clinics start on Tuesday 5th October and are available for booking now. If you fall into any of the ‘at risk’ categories below, please telephone the surgery on 01787 475944 to book your appointment.  We offer daytime and evening flu clinics.

Vaccinations are offered to

·          Patients aged 65 years and over

(this includes all patients who will be aged 65 or over on 31st March 2011).

·          Patients aged 6 months or over in a clinical risk group as follows:
         


Chronic respiratory disease and
asthma that requires continuous
or repeated use of inhaled or
systemic steroids or  with
previous exacerbations requiring
hospital admission


Chronic heart disease 
Chronic renal disease 
Chronic liver disease 
Chronic neurological disease 
Diabetes 
Immunosuppression due to disease or treatment 
Multiple sclerosis and related conditions or 
Hereditary and degenerative diseases of the
central nervous system

  • Patients living in long-stay residential care homes or other long-stay facilities

  • Patients who are in receipt of carer’s allowance, or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if the carer falls ill.
